Are you still wondering about this? But the fact is that the news is absolutely true. Now you can beat the unbearable heat in the capital by spending your day enjoying fresh snow fall with dipping temperature of minus 15 degrees in Noida.

The indoor Sci-fi themed Snow Park, Ski India announced its grand launch at DLF Mall of India on 22^nd April. With 100,000+ sq.ft property, comprising of two floors, Ski India offers exciting skiing experience and an array of intergalactic games. A well designed and conceptualized themed park with a wide variety of Snow Sports & activities like Ski, Sledging, Bob Sledding, Toboggan, Ice Skating, Frozen Land Experience, Bumper Cars and a Mono Rail that would give an aerial view of the property.

At the launch event, Mr. Prasuk R Jain, Co-Founder & Managing Director, Ski India said, “The winter themed sports activities seemed untapped, pan-India. Hence, we decided to conceptualize an all year round indoor snow sport resort introducing indoor skiing for the first time in India. We have a strong creative force of imaginers who combine a rich legacy of entertainment with latest technology to infuse life into our dream projects. We pushed the boundaries of innovation to make Ski India the most loved amusement destination of India.”

Well, I was one of the few lucky people who got an invite to the press meet and experience the exclusive preview before it opens to the public. I must tell you that the very first look of the snow park was quite impressive. After the press meet, we were asked to gear up for facing the unprecedented cold of minus 15 degrees.

So we all wore the suits designed to bear the cold.I was all set to explore the freezing snow fall experience. As soon as I entered the door, it looked like a complete new world.

The surface of the park looked like a well spread white carpet. Wherever your eyes went, all one could see was snow. I could not shy away from throwing snow balls on my friends. The child in me came to the fore.

Interestingly, this snow park is not just an exciting entertainment destination for kids but it caters to people of all ages. They have sports designed for kids as well as adults. Ski India does have a special zone for Kids Ski and Toboggan. The robotic installations in different corners undoubtedly caught my attention.

I did try to feel the temperature by removing my hand gloves, and in a few minutes my hands were frozen. It was actually freezing.

Conceptualizing something like this is a unique initiative. This park not only gives you a thrilling experience of a variety of snow sports but also easily transports you to a world of wonders. Experts across the globe joined hands together in getting this dream project to come true and presented Asia’s largest Snow Park in the country.Ski India has introduced the indoor skiing for the very first time in India.

The only way to reach this snow park is through Wormhole, which will transport all the earthlings into the unseen planet.Interestingly, Ski India’s mascots called Orri and Orran will pilot the earthlings while Snow Men will guide them through all the intergalactic sports.
